Of Dr. Mutunga, Ruan Giggs, Elton John, Kizito and whats in a stud?

I have watched Kenya's so called men of the clothe launch a fervent campaign to keep a one venerable Dr. Willy Mutunga from assuming the office of the Chief Justice and president of the supreme court of Kenya. when the shenanigans bleat for all and sundry to hear, over Mutunga's stud, i couldn't help but self reflect, whats in a stud?

Not so long ago, when i was in college, there existed a university Proffesor, who was so shot-at that he used his old Mercedes both as his office, and home. He was so run down, he frequented students Keg joints, bought everybody rounds and basically urinated on our shoes.  The question that most students though asked was why didn't the university get rid of this guy. it was what what he had in him rather than what his persona projected that the university was interested in. It was even fabled that at a particular instance when the Vice Chancellor had thought he'd seen enough hogwash from him, the professor wheeled in his curriculum vitae and his published work in a wheelbarrow.

Thus when antagonistic forces connive to keep Dr. Willy out from office because he adorns a stud, they are merely trying to stray from fundamental issues. Mutunga has qualities that Kenya's society so desires, his wearing of a stud not withstanding.Sir  Elton John albeit gay is one of the biggest musician of all time, that you can not take away from him. Ryan Giggs though  a philanderer is a wonderfull footballer. On the pitch I look at Giggs as a wonderful winger not as a philanderer. Kenya's society's interest in Dr. Mutunga lies in his legal acumen. The rest I don't give a whiff about.

Is it not our Lord, Jesus Christ who said that it we should remove the log in our eyes before we  see the speck in our neighbors eyes? Is it not that the English say that those who live in stone houses should be the last to throw stones? Didn't apostle Paul not acquiesce to living with a thorn in the flesh? Did that make him a lesser apostle?

The bottom of the matter is all people have thorns in their flesh, specks in their eyes but those don't define a man for men have qualities and herein lies the basic principle of social interaction, we interact to enjoy the benefits of congenital qualities available to all men.

Amazed that the Kenyan Episcopal Conference has not sanctioned Father Kizito.
